Accordion Joins Claude Partner Network as Select Services Partner

Accordion, an AI and data-powered financial consulting firm focused on private equity, today announced that it has joined the Claude Partner Network as a Select Services Partner. The designation recognizes Accordion’s certified Claude expertise and demonstrated experience deploying AI in production.

The milestone advances Accordion’s strategy to build the future of finance by bringing frontier AI, modern data infrastructure, deep finance expertise, and Forward Deployed Engineering together to build agentic systems inside the businesses where value is created, with a direct line to EBITDA.

“The finance function is becoming one of the most consequential proving grounds for enterprise AI, and private equity will accelerate that shift,” said Nick Leopard, CEO of Accordion. “Sponsors have an investment thesis, a defined hold period, and a clear expectation for value creation. That creates the accountability AI needs. Every dollar we spend on AI has to show up in the numbers a buyer will underwrite. Claude gives our teams an incredibly powerful platform to build on, and this designation expands what we can deliver for CFOs and sponsors as AI becomes part of how their businesses run.”

The opportunity is already taking shape across private equity. Accordion’s 2026 PE AI Adoption Benchmark found that 98% of sponsors have told portfolio company CFOs to prioritize AI, while only 37% of CFOs feel confident in their AI strategy today.

Accordion has built its Data & AI practice around that opportunity. The practice spans modern data platforms and foundations, Applied AI, and AI product and engineering, with embedded engineers working alongside finance and operating teams to build and run AI-native systems in production.

“The next generation of the finance function is being engineered right now,” said Kyle Roemer, Global Head of Data & AI at Accordion. “Claude opens up an entirely new class of agentic workflows for finance. Put that capability in the hands of engineers who understand the data and operators who understand the P&L, and you can redesign how decisions get made across the hold period. That’s the opportunity we’re building for.”

Accordion is already using Claude within its own organization, including a deal-team intelligence platform in production. The firm is also building its bench of Claude-certified architects and developers as it expands its capacity to deploy AI across private equity portfolios.

The Select designation is the latest step in Accordion’s broader investment in AI and engineering as the firm scales its ability to help sponsors and CFOs embed AI into the finance function and the operating model of their businesses.

“The firms that define the future of finance will be the ones that can connect intelligence directly to action,” Roemer said. “Every close, forecast, pricing decision, and operating review creates an opportunity to make the business smarter. We’re building the people, technology, and engineering capability to make that intelligence operational across the portfolio, and to make sure it shows up on the P&L.”
